Steve and Bev are here and ready to make sure you enjoy the best fishing holiday in Spain. Because on our guided fishing trips you will be on our regular swims where 100lb monster Wels Catfish and 40lb Carp are caught every week. And that is why a Fishing holiday in Spain, here on the River Ebro in Caspe is a unique and unforgettable experience. In addition, Caspe is, without doubt, the best location on the River Ebro.
The mighty River Ebro offers anglers a world Class venue, with monster Catfish up to 220lb, and wild free-swimming river Carp up to 80lb. So, don’t just dream about catching the fish of a lifetime, instead you can make it a reality by fishing on the River Ebro in Spain. Of all the locations along the length of the Ebro River, Caspe is far and away the best. Above all don’t be tempted by the other locations on the Ebro, because up here is where you are going to catch the biggest fish and the largest hauls. If you want the trip of a lifetime, be sure to choose your location wisely.
Here in Caspe we have the best location on the Ebro, and the best angling in Spain. After 10 years here, my regular fishing clients know that I have the best locations and my swims bag hundreds of giant catfish and 30lb & 40lb carp every year. Known locally as “El Mar de Aragon” “The Aragon Sea” the river here behind this uppermost dam is wide enough to have earned that name. Natural, wild and peaceful, there is enough space so that you may never see another angler, except driving past in the boat after another successful day’s fishing, or at the boat ramp where you can swap stories and gloat about your prize catch.
“Taking a guided fishing package is by far the best option to make the most of your holiday when you’re fishing In Spain On The River Ebro. Firstly, I have 40 years of fishing experience to share with you. Secondly, I have 20 years’ experience of Competition and Course fishing in Germany and Holland and thirdly, I have over ten years guiding and fishing on the River Ebro in Spain, here in Caspe. Because of this, I know the river and I know the fish. Also, I never mix groups, so you and your friends or family will get my exclusive attention. Moreover, I will take you to my regular, well fed swims and show you some of the techniques and tricks I have picked up over the years.”
“Because of my military background, I am organised and prepared and my equipment is always in tip top condition. However we keep our prices competitive, and we want all of our guests to have the trip of a lifetime. Because nothing makes me happier than the giant grin on your face when I am photographing you with your new PB”.
The accommodation we recommend is smart, modern, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Just 200 yds away from the river’s edge and surrounded by the unique Aragon countryside, a private patio and barbeque area mean you can relax and enjoy the warm summer evenings after catching that 2 metre catfish or PB carp. There are also further options available in Caspe town.
Much of the accommodation available has self catering facilities. Or in Caspe town itself there are many good restaurants to choose from.
The historic town of Caspe is a 10 minute drive away and has direct rail links to Barcelona, Reus and Zaragoza. However you will find 2 tackle shops, 4 supermarkets, and numerous bars and restaurants to enjoy during your stay if you have the energy after long, hot days on the bank, being dragged around by Monster Wels Catfish on the River Ebro in Spain.
